During the past 10 years, Biogas technology have been well financed and supported by MOA (Ministry of Agriculture) in China. German GIZ organization,Asian Development Bank(ADB), Global Environment Facility(GEF) and other international organizations have also contributed a lot to encourage and improve the biogas technology in China and Southeast Asia Region.
Instead of burning the straws which may contribute to the SMOG problem in China, biomass fermentation and biogas utilization is a clean method and encouraged by law and regulations.
